Reads the product's fabric composition and price, then estimates its carbon and water footprint, cost-per-wear, and expected wears - the numbers that tell you whether something is actually worth buying. Every estimate is marked with a ~. See the sources.

Full material breakdown

Pulls the exact fabric composition straight off the page - for example 55% linen, 30% cotton, 15% polyester - so you can see what a garment is really made of, with higher-impact synthetics flagged.

Brand grade + alternatives

Shows the brand's A-F grade and 0-100 score across four dimensions - environmental, labor, transparency, animal welfare - from our 635-brand database, and suggests higher-rated alternatives one click away.

Our Promise

It never invents data

Rewoven's whole point is honest information. The extension follows the same rules as everything else we build:

✓If a page doesn't list materials, it says so. You'll see "composition not listed" instead of a guessed footprint. No fabric data means no footprint, ever.
✓Estimates are marked with a ~. Footprint figures are calculated from published research averages and are useful for comparing materials, not for measuring a specific garment. They're always labelled as estimates.
✓Ratings are editorial opinion, with the working shown. Brand grades are Rewoven's sourced assessments, not statements of fact, and every brand includes a "why this score" explanation.

Your browsing stays yours

The extension reads product pages locally in your browser and sends only the detected brand name to our API to fetch its rating. No personal data, no browsing history, no account, no analytics.
